Our meat – from pasture to packaging
Runeholm is approved as a primary producer of food and feed and sells small quantities of home-bred, naturally fed sheep, lambs and lamb meat, as well as eggs from happy free-range hens.
Our friendly Värmland sheep live in open shelters and as naturally as possible. The lambs stay with their mothers and graze in the pasture from spring to autumn. They are fed with grass and roughage from our own production – entirely free of harmful or toxic substances; no pesticides are used on our land.
The animals are slaughtered without stress at a certified on-farm abattoir just 12 km away, where the meat is cut, vacuum-packed and labelled – with a maximum transport time of under 20 minutes for our animals.
Hay, feed & more
We offer hay, haylage and silage from fields farmed entirely without artificial fertiliser – in large bales (350–400 kg) and small bales (25–30 kg). We also have hay pellets and our wool pellets as a natural fertiliser.
